Women’s Swimming Advances 200 Medley Relay to Finals on Friday Night

The Gustavus women’s swimming and diving team advanced the 200 medley relay team to the finals on the second day of the NCAA Division III Championships. The event is being held at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.

The Gustavus women’s swimming and diving team advanced the 200 medley relay team to the finals on the second day of the NCAA Division III Championships. The event is being held at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Sara Pfau, Eva Miller, Katie Garvey and Beth DeLaRosby placed ninth in the prelims this morning with a time of 1:48.25. Individually, Eva Miller qualified for the consolation final in the 100-yard breaststroke. Miller recorded a time of 1:06.88 and placed 15th overall in the prelims.

Gustavus compiled 55.5 points in the first day of competition and is currently in eighth place at the national meet. Tonight’s finals will begin at 6:30 p.m. (ET).
