Women’s Basketball Posts Convincing Win Over Bethel 83-61

The Gustavus women's basketball team defeated Bethel University 83-61 on Saturday afternoon. Twelve Gusties scored in the game, led by sophomore post Bri Monahan with 19 points and eight rebounds. First year guard Jess Vadnais also contributed 17 points.

Former Gustavus Hockey Player Brian Westland Dies in Minneapolis

Brian Westland, a four-year letterwinner for the Gustavus men's hockey team from 1999-2002, passed away in his sleep on Monday, January 3 in Minneapolis. The cause of death is unknown at this time.
