Women’s Basketball Posts Convincing Win Over Bethel 83-61
The Gustavus women's basketball team defeated Bethel University 83-61 on Saturday afternoon. Twelve Gusties scored in the game, led by sophomore post Bri Monahan with 19 points and eight rebounds. First year guard Jess Vadnais also contributed 17 points.

Women’s Gymnastics Team Set to Open 2005 Season in Cancun, Mexico
The Gustavus women's gymnastics team will open its 2005 season in style with a meet in Cancun, Mexico. The Gusties will compete against three Division I teams including the University of Oklahoma, Brigham Young University and George Washington University

The Gustavus women's hockey team lost a heartbreaker to top-rated Middlebury 4-3 in overtime in River Falls, Wisconsin on Friday night. The Panthers scored :26 into the overtime to hand the Gusties their first loss of the season.

The Gustavus men's basketball team jumped out to a 17-2 lead and never looked back in claiming a 74-57 win over St. Mary's in St. Peter on Wednesday night. Phil Sowden scored a career-high 24 points to lead the Gusties.

The Gustavus women's basketball team dropped its' second straight MIAC competition on Wednesday, falling to Saint Mary's 60-53. First year guard Jess Vadnais matched her career-high of 22 points to lead the Gusties.
Former Gustavus Hockey Player Brian Westland Dies in Minneapolis
Brian Westland, a four-year letterwinner for the Gustavus men's hockey team from 1999-2002, passed away in his sleep on Monday, January 3 in Minneapolis. The cause of death is unknown at this time.
