Friday’s snowstorm that dumped 7-10 inches of snow in southern Minnesota has caused some adjustments to the Gustavus athletic schedule for Saturday, January 22. Here are the changes:
Women’s Hockey – The Gustavus women’s hockey game against Saint Mary’s scheduled for 2 pm at Don Roberts Ice Rink has been postponed and moved to Sunday, January 23 at 2:05 pm in St. Peter.
Women’s Basketball – The women’s basketball game scheduled to start at 1:00 pm at Hamline has been moved back to approximately 2:30 pm. The junior varsity game has been cancelled.
Men’s Basketball – The men’s junior varsity and varsity basketball games scheduled for Saturday will take place as originally planned. The junior varsity game will begin at 1:00 pm and the varsity game will start at 3:00 pm.
Men’s Hockey – The men’s hockey game against Hamline scheduled to start at 7:05 pm at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter will take place as scheduled.
Men’s and Women’s Nordic Skiing – The men’s and women’s Nordic Skiing teams are scheduled to compete in the NCAA Qualifying race in Grand Rapids, Minn. This event will take place as scheduled.
Men’s and Women’s Swimming – The men’s and women’s swimming teams are in Stevens Point, Wisconsin for the UW-Stevens Point Invitational. Saturday is the second day of the two-day invitational and it will continue as planned.
