Women’s Hockey Ties UW-Superior 2-2

The Gustavus women's hockey team opened its season with a 2-2 overtime tie with the University of Wisconsin-Superior. The Gustavus goals were scored by Laura Stypulkowski and Abby Randall. Kara Meyer made 7 saves in the nets for the Gusties.

Men’s Soccer Defeats Macalester 3-0 to Win MIAC Playoff Championship

The Gustavus men's soccer team defeated Macalester 3-0 to claim its second consecutive MIAC Tournament Championship and an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. Ben Heupel, J.T. Johnson and Joe Hartwell were the goal scorers for Gustavus.

Men’s Hockey Falls to St. Scholastica 3-2 in Season Opener

The Gustavus men's hockey team lost to St. Scholastica 3-2 on Friday night in St. Peter, Minn. Junior Adam Meyer scored both goals for the Gusties. St. Scholastica scored a short handed goal with 1:15 left to win the game.

Men’s Soccer to Host Macalester in MIAC Tournament Final on Saturday

The Gustavus men's soccer team will host Macalester College on Saturday, November 6 in the MIAC tournament final. The match is scheduled to start at 1pm.

Two Gusties Named to Volleyball All-Conference Team

Senior setter Rachel Batalden (Lamberton, Minn.) and junior outside hitter Tara Houlihan (Sioux Falls, S.D.) were named to the All-Conference Team by the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Volleyball Ends Season with Playoff Loss to St. Thomas

The Gustavus volleyball team ended their season Tuesday night with a three-game loss to St. Thomas in the first round of the MIAC Tournament (35-37, 25-30, 27-30). The Gusties finished with an overall record of 19-7 and 8-3 in conference play.

The Gustavus men's soccer team defeated Bethel University 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. Sophomore Alex Groth scored the only goal in the 38th minute of the match. The Gusties will host Macalester College on Saturday in the MIAC final.

The Gustavus men's soccer team is seeded number one and will host number four seed Bethel University in the MIAC playoffs semifinal game on Tuesday, November 2. The match is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm.
