The Gustavus women’s team lost to Luther College 3-0 on Sunday afternoon in Decorah, Iowa. The Gusties fall to 1-7-1 overall while the Norse improve to 6-2-0 overall.
Ann Cary scored the first goal of the game off of a penalty kick in the 19th minute. In minute 35, Katie Pettigrew made it 2-0 off of a pass from Katie Myers. Myers earned her second assist of the game in minute 78 by passing the ball of to Cary. Cary tallied her second goal of the match to make the final score 3-0 in favor of the Norse.
Gustavus will be back in action on Saturday, October 9 against Augsburg at home.
