The Gustavus men’s soccer team has announced its schedule for the 2004 season. Highlights of the upcoming year include the season opener against Viterbo University, a trip to Tacoma, Washington to face Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Puget Sound and the home opener against Loras College.
Gustavus opens the season with a trip to LaCrosse, Wisconsin to face Viterbo University on Wednesday, September 1st. The Gusties will then travel to Tacoma, Washington to play Pacific Lutheran University on Saturday, September 4th and the University of Puget Sound on Sunday, September 5th. The Gusties home opener will be against Loras College on Saturday, September 11th.
Coach Larry Zelenz’s squad begins conference play against St. Olaf College on Wednesday, September 15th in Northfield, Minnesota. Always a classic match-up, the Scots of Macalester College will host Gustavus on Friday, October 22nd in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Gusties will wrap up the regular season at home against Colorado College on Saturday, October 30th.
