Men’s Golf Comes from Behind to Win St. John’s Invitational

The Gustavus men’s golf team rallied from 14 shots back after the first day to win the St. John’s Invitational. The Gusties finished at 308-290–598, two shots ahead of St. John’s. Senior Luke Benoit won the individual title with a total of 73-69–142.

The Gustavus men’s golf team rallied from 14 shots back after the first day to win the St. John’s Invitational. The Gusties finished at 308-290–598, two shots ahead of St. John’s. Senior Luke Benoit won the individual title with a total of 73-69–142 (-2). Others scoring for the Gustavus Gold team were Neil Johnson at 77-73–150, Brady Hoffman at 77-73–150, Brent Borgstahl at 81-76–157, Chase Thonvold at 85-75–160. The Gustavus Black team finished fourth with a team score of 312-312–624. Scores for the Black team included Tony Oberle at 76-78–154, Charlie Seitzer at 78-78–156, Brian Zard at 82-82–164, Josh Segal at 76-75-151, Nick Greve at 85-81–166.
