The Gustavus women’s basketball program has announced its schedule for the 2003-04 season. Highlights of the upcoming year include a season opener at Wartburg College, the home opener against Concordia College, and a winter break trip to Spokane, Washington.
Gustavus, which posted a record of 25-4 last season, opens the 2003-04 campaign at Wartburg on November 25. The Gusties then begin MIAC play at Augsburg College on December 3 before opening up its home schedule against Concordia on December 6.
Gustavus travels to Spokane, Washington for a pair of non-conference games on December 29 and 30. The Gusties will face Whitman on December 29 and Whitworth on December 30.
Last year Gustavus shared the MIAC title with Carleton College and the College of St. Benedict. The Gusties will travel to St. Benedict on January 14 and will host the Blazers on February 14. The squad will face Carleton on the road on January 19 and will conclude the regular season at home against the Knights on February 21. The MIAC tournament begins with the quarterfinals on February 23.
