Recent Gustavus Adolphus College graduate Nora Holtan (Rochester, Minn.) has been selected as a candidate for the 2019 NCAA Woman of the Year award. Holtan was a three-time First Team All-American for the Gustavus volleyball team and the NCAA Woman of the Year nomination adds to a long list of accolades for the Rochester product.

Recent Gustavus Adolphus College graduate Sophie Leininger (Plymouth, Minn.) has been selected as a candidate for the 2018 NCAA Woman of the Year award. Leininger was a four-year starter for the Gustavus women’s soccer team and the NCAA Woman of the Year nomination adds to a long list of accolades for the Wayzata product.

Sports Information Director Tim Kennedy Accepts New Role As Assistant Vice President

Tim Kennedy, a 1982 graduate of Gustavus, who has served as the Sports Information at the College for the past 25 years has accepted the position of Assistant Vice President and Director of Multimedia Innovation in the division of Marketing and Communication. Taking up the post June 1, 2011, Kennedy will serve as the College's key communication strategist with the offices of Admission and Advancement, promoting the College's academic excellence and distinctive attributes to key constituents.

Gustavus Athletics Department Selected To Receive NCAA Strategic Alliance Matching Grant

Gustavus Adolphus College has been selected one of nine National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division III institutions to receive a Strategic Alliance Matching Grant. The grant will allow the College to enhance an existing administrative position within the Athletics Department. The position, which will be upgraded from a part-time position to a full-time position, will have the title Assistant Athletics Director for Student Athlete Services.

Men’s Basketball NCAA Ticket Information

The Gustavus men's basketball team will play Lawrence University in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students, seniors, and children 12 and under.
