Women’s Swimming & Diving Takes Second At Grinnell Invite

The Gustavus Adolphus College women's swimming and diving team remained in second place with 912 points on the final day of the 2016 Grinnell College Invitational held over the weekend at the Grinnell Natatorium in the Charles Benson Bear Recreation and Athletic Center. Host Grinnell finished in third with 764 points, while the University of Nebraska-Omaha was the meet champion with 1192.5.

he Gustavus Adolphus College women’s swimming and diving team is in second place with 506 points following the opening day of the Grinnell College Invitational being held over the weekend at the Grinnell Natatorium in the Charles Benson Bear ’39 Recreation and Athletic Center. The Gusties posted three event wins and a total of eight top-three finishes on day one of the 13-team meet. The University of Nebraska-Omaha leads the field with 630 points, while Grinnell rounds out the top-three with 392.

Men’s And Women’s Swimming & Diving Teams To Compete In Grinnell Invitational

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will travel to Grinnell, Iowa this weekend to compete at the Grinnell Invitational taking place at the Grinnell Natatorium in the Charles Benson Bear ’39 Recreation and Athletic Center. The meet will also feature teams from Coe, Colorado College, College of Saint Mary, Loras, Luther, Nebraska Wesleyan, St. Catherine, Simpson, University of Nebraska-Kearney and University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Swimming & Diving’s Senior Day Meet Vs. Carleton To Be Live Streamed On Friday

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams are set to face Carleton College in a dual meet on Friday at 5 p.m. in the Vic Gustafson Pool. Fans not in attendance will be able to view the meet online through the Gustavus athletics website. Gustavus will provide a high definition video stream of the evening’s event for viewing on computers, tablets, or smart phones.
