Women’s Tennis Advances to MIAC Championship, Blanks Bethel 5-0

Gustavus, the No. 2 seed and now 17-12 overall, advances to the MIAC championship at 1 p.m. Saturday at No. 1 seed and undefeated Carleton. 

Softball Posts MIAC Sweep of St. Catherine

The Gustavus softball team swept St. Catherine for the first time since 2016, getting wins of 1-0 and 5-4 over the Wildcats in the crucial MIAC series. The wins move the Gusties up to a share of fourth in the MIAC standings, and improve the team's conference record to 10-6 and overall record to 17-15.

Men’s Tennis Advances to MIAC Playoff Championship

The Gustavus men's tennis team is championship bound once again, making quick work of Saint John's, 5-0, to advance to the MIAC Playoff title match.

Men’s Golf Defeats No. 14 Saint John’s in Dual Meet

The Gustavus men's golf team won a MIAC dual meet against nationally-ranked No. 14 Saint John's on Thursday at Pioneer Creek Golf Course. The Gusties shot one-over par 289, edging the Johnnies by one stroke.

Hanson Collects 200th Hit, Baseball Sweeps Carleton

The Gustavus baseball team picked up its fifth conference sweep of the season Wednesday, beating Carleton 6-0 and 8-3.

Siegle Named MIAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Luke Siegle (So., Blaine) tossed two complete game victories, defeating St. Scholastica 7-0 on April 18 and Saint Mary’s 5-1 on April 23. Herda Named MIAC Softball Player of the Week

Kayla Herda had a 13-hit week for the Gusties, leading the team through a seven-game win streak and five MIAC victories. Herda averaged .591 (13-for-22) with an on-base percentage of .625 in six games, scoring six runs with nine RBI while belting four extra-base hits including her first home run of the season against Concordia on 4/19. For her performance, Herda was named MIAC Softball Player of the Week.

Softball’s Win Streak Ends with Split Against Saint Mary’s

Both the Gustavus and Saint Mary's softball teams entered into Sunday's doubleheader with an identical conference record of 7-5 and a six-game win streak. And, thanks to a MIAC split, both teams left the field with a foiled win streak and a still identical conference record. The Gusties won game one 7-4 before falling 9-4 at the hands of the Cardinals in game two.
