Men’s Track & Field Wins at Macalester, Women Take Second

The Gustavus men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed at Macalester's Vanessa Seljeskog Classic on Saturday and came away with multiple event victories. The Gustie women won nine events and took second out of five teams with a score of 166. The Gustie men placed first out of four teams with 219 points after claiming six event victories.

Women’s Hockey Sweeps Concordia

No. 6 Gustavus women's hockey completed the series sweep over Concordia on Saturday with a 5-1 victory. The Gusties improve to 12-2 overall and 8-0 in the MIAC.

Women’s Basketball Falls to Bethel 53-47

The Gustavus women's basketball team saw its halftime lead quickly dissipate in the third quarter Saturday in a 53-47 loss to Bethel. The Gusties and Royals split the season series as Gustavus drops to 11-3 overall and 9-2 in the MIAC. 

Men’s Hockey Swept By Concordia

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus men's hockey team took its second consecutive loss to the Cobbers in a 5-1 final. With the loss, the Gusties fall to 4-10-2 and 0-5-1 in the MIAC.

Swimming and Diving Off to a Strong Start After Day One of Point Invite

STEVENS POINT, Wis. - The Gustavus swim and dive teams got out to a strong start winning 10 out of 18 opening events of the Point Invite. The Gustie women finished day one ahead of Stevens Point 738-510 while the Gustie men scored 646 to the Pointers 537.

Women’s Hockey Erases Early Deficit, Beats Concordia 3-1

No. 6 Gustavus women's hockey scored three unanswered goals in the final 32 minutes Friday night, resulting in a 3-1 victory at Concordia. The Gusties improve to 11-2 overall and 7-0 in the MIAC, while the Cobbers drop to 6-8 overall and 2-5 in the league. 

Men’s Hockey Falls to Concordia 7-1

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus men's hockey team opened its conference series against the Cobbers and took a 7-1 loss, moving to 4-9-2 overall and 0-4-1 in the MIAC. 

MIAC Announces Basketball, Hockey Playoff Details

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced additional details for its all-comers tournaments in basketball and hockey on Friday. The MIAC Athletic Directors' Council moved to adopt a revised postseason format for this year due to the impact of COVID-19-related cancelations on the 2021-22 regular seasons.

Women’s Hoops Completes Sweep Over Carleton

The Gustavus women's basketball team Wednesday won its sixth consecutive game, completing the series sweep over Carleton with a 69-48 victory. The Gusties, who beat the Knights 76-50 on Dec. 1 in Saint Peter, are now 11-2 overall and 9-1 in the MIAC.

Jan. 19 Men’s Basketball Home Game vs. Carleton Canceled

The Gustavus men's basketball game vs. Carleton scheduled for 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 19 at Gus Young Court is canceled due to COVID testing protocols. This game may be rescheduled in the future as a non-conference contest if schedules allow.
