Football Looks to Bounce Back Saturday at Carleton

The Gustavus football team hits the road Saturday for a 1 p.m. MIAC Northwoods Division matchup at Carleton. The Gusties enter the game 5-2 overall, 3-2 in the MIAC, and 1-1 in the division, while the Knights are 6-1 overall, 4-1 in the MIAC, and 1-1 in the division. 

2021-22 Men’s Hockey Season Preview

The Gustavus men’s hockey team opens its 2020-21 campaign Friday night at 7 p.m. when the Gusties host Lawrence University featuring a roster loaded with underclassmen. Fourteen first-years and six sophomores have their sights on making an early impact.

Women’s Soccer Clinches Playoff Berth, Defeats Hamline 3-1

Two second half goals propelled the Gustavus women's soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Hamline on Wednesday afternoon. The Gusties, who have clinched a spot in the MIAC playoffs, improve to 9-8 overall and 6-4 in the MIAC, while the Pipers drop to 7-7-1 overall and 3-6-1 in the league.

Men’s Soccer Wins 4-1 Over Hamline, Gibbons Breaks Program Assists Record

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The Gustavus men's soccer team traveled to Hamline on Tuesday afternoon for a conference match against the Pipers. The nationally ranked Gusties took a 4-1 win and move to 13-4 overall and a 7-2 mark in the MIAC.

Gustavus Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2021 Honored

The Gustavus Athletics Department inducted nine new members into its Hall of Fame on Saturday night during the 43rd annual banquet.

Women’s Soccer Beats Bethel in Double Overtime

The Gustavus women's soccer team had multiple scoring chances in Saturday's MIAC match against Bethel and finally came through in the 106th minute as Lillian Selberg (Fy., Minneapolis) scored the golden goal in a 1-0 double overtime victory.

Volleyball Completes Weekend Conference Sweep

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus volleyball team hosted the Saint Benedict Bennies for a Saturday night contest where the Gusties took a straight set win. With the victory, the team moves to 22-5 overall and 7-1 in the MIAC. 

Men’s Soccer Wins 4-1 on Senior Day

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus men's soccer team hosted the Bethel University Royals on senior day for a conference match. The Gusties defeated the Royals 4-1, and improve to 12-4 overall and 6-2 in the MIAC.

Football’s Second Half Struggles Result in 37-7 Loss to No. 5 Saint John’s

A 58-yard touchdown pass from Jake Breitbach (So., Golden Valley) to Dalton Thelen (Sr., Cold Spring) late in the second quarter put the Gustavus football team within three points of No. 5 Saint John’s, trailing 10-7 at halftime, but 27 unanswered second half points gave the Johnnies a 37-7 win on Saturday at Hollingsworth Field.
