Baseball Splits with St. Thomas

The Gustavus baseball team split a MIAC doubleheader with St. Thomas on Wednesday at the Gustie Baseball Field. The Gusties claimed game one 3-1, but lost the nightcap 5-4, snapping their 11-game winning streak.

Wednesday Night Volleyball Postponed

Wednesday night’s (April 11) Gustavus volleyball home match against Saint Benedict is postponed due to COVID-19 testing protocols.

Volleyball Wins in Four Sets Against Hamline

The Gustavus volleyball team got back on track Tuesday night with a 3-1 victory over Hamline at Gus Young Court. The Gusties won by set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 17-25, and 25-21, improving to 2-1 overall.

Birgen Nelson Named MIAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week

Birgen Nelson (So., Edina) won both the 100-meter dash and 100-hurdles at last weekend's Carleton Relays with times of 12.40 and 14.07, respectively. For her performance, Nelson has been named MIAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week. 

Men’s Golf Places Third in Bobby Krig Invitational

The Gustavus men's golf team hosted 14 teams for their annual Bobby Krig Invitational tournament. The team tied in third after their final rounds on Monday.

Bryce Novak Named MIAC Baseball Player of the Week

Novak had at least one hit in every game, batting 10-for-19 (.526) with four runs, three doubles, one home run, four walks, and four RBI from the leadoff spot. For his performance, Novak has been named MIAC Baseball Player of the Week. 

Men’s Golf Finishes Day One of Bobby Krig Invitational

The Gustavus women's golf team won out of eight teams in the Wartburg Spring Invite with a total score of 641 (+81).
