Men’s Tennis Posts Clean Sheet Against Saint John’s

The Gustavus men's tennis team returned to MIAC play Saturday afternoon at the Swanson Tennis Center and came away with a 9-0 win over Saint John's.

Football Scrimmages MSU-Mankato

The Gustavus football team Saturday afternoon competed against another school for the first time since the last game of the 2019 season. The Gusties travelled 15 miles south to take on Minnesota State-Mankato in a joint practice/scrimmage.

Women’s Tennis Blanks UW-Eau Claire

The Gustavus women’s tennis team was back in action on their home courts when they hosted UW-Eau Claire for a Friday night matchup. The Gusties were able to win all of their matches to take a 9-0 win over the Blugolds. 

Baseball Splits with Saint Mary’s in MIAC Opener

The Gustavus baseball team opened MIAC play Friday at Saint Mary's and came away with a doubleheader split. The Gusties won game one 10-3 and dropped the second game 9-5.

Bats Stay Hot, Baseball Beats St. Scholastica 13-5

The Gustavus baseball team continued to swing hot bats Thursday afternoon, defeating St. Scholastica 13-5 in non-conference action at the Gustie Baseball Field. The Gusties collected 18 hits with 12 RBI while improving to 3-0 overall.

Baseball Cancels Wednesday Home Game vs. Bethany Lutheran

The Gustavus baseball home game scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday (March 24) against Bethany Lutheran is cancelled due to the weather. The Gusties are back in action tomorrow at home against St. Scholastica with the first pitch slated for 2 p.m. 

Corbett Named WIAC All-Around Gymnast of the Week

Gustavus sophomore Annie Corbett (Brookfield, Wis.) has been named WIAC All-Around Gymnast of the Week for her performance at UW-Eau Claire last Thursday.

Tuesday Baseball Pushed Back to Thursday

The Gustavus baseball team's home game this Tuesday (March 23) against St. Scholastica is pushed back to Thursday (March 25) due to the forecasted weather. The nine-inning non-conference game begins at 2 p.m. with a junior varsity game to follow. 

Updated Spectator Policy for Gustavus Athletic Spring Events

A limited number of fans will be permitted at some Gustavus home sporting events this spring, beginning Tuesday, March 23. The recently updated Gustavus Athletic Department spectator policy for home athletic events this spring applies to baseball, softball, men’s and women’s soccer games, as well as men’s and women’s tennis matches this spring. Spectators will not be allowed at volleyball games, football scrimmages, or track & field events.

Women’s Tennis Tops MSU-Mankato and SMSU

The Gustavus women's tennis team continued to shut down opponents in wins on Sunday against MSU-Mankato and Southwest Minnesota State University.
