Track and Field with Big Performances at SDSU Indoor

The Gustavus men's and women's track and field team sent a handful of runners to Brookings, S.D. to compete in the SDSU Indoor Classic Friday and Saturday with the Gusties finishing up competition Saturday. The Gustavus men finished 15th of 26 teams, while the women took ninth of 22.

Track and Field with Strong Showing at Carleton

The Gustavus men's and women's track team sent a handful of student-athletes to compete at Carleton at the Meet of Hearts Saturday. The women finished in sixth of 10 teams, while the men finished sixth of eight.

Women’s Basketball Falls to No. 11 Bethel

Turnovers proved to be the demise of the Gustavus women's basketball as they dropped an 82-69 contest to No. 11 Bethel on Saturday afternoon. With the loss the Gusties fall to 17-6 overall and 13-5 in the MIAC, while the Royals move to 22-1 overall and 17-1 in the MIAC.

Women’s Hockey Sweeps Saint Ben’s

No. 5 Gustavus women’s hockey completed the series sweep Saturday afternoon with a 5-2 win over Saint Benedict. The Gusties improve to 17-3-2 overall and 13-1-2 in the MIAC, while the Bennies drop to 11-10-1 overall and 5-11-0 in the league.

Turnovers Result in Men’s Basketball 65-58 Loss to Bethel

Turnovers late in the game Saturday afternoon proved costly as the Gustavus men’s basketball team lost 65-58 to Bethel. The Gusties drop to 8-15 overall and 8-10 in the MIAC, while the Royals improve to 15-8 overall and 12-6 in the league.

Women’s Basketball Hosts No. 11 Bethel for Senior Day Saturday

The Gustavus women's basketball team will play host to No. 11 Bethel Saturday as they celebrate Senior Day. The Gusties enter the contest 17-5 overall and 13-4 in the MIAC, while the Royals are 21-1 overall and 16-1 in the conference.

Men’s Swim & Dive Extends Lead at MIAC Championships, Women Third After Day Three

For the third straight day, the Gustavus men’s swim & dive team controls the lead at the MIAC Championships, now with a total of 646, which is more than 150 points higher than second-place St. Thomas. The Gustavus women have dropped to third place with 414 points but are within reach of St. Kate’s 467 points.

Women’s Hockey Defeats Saint Benedict 4-1

The Gustavus women's hockey team traveled to St. Cloud Friday and took home a 4-1 victory over Saint Benedict. With the win the Gusties improve to 16-3-2 overall and 12-1-2 in the MIAC.

Men’s Hockey Falls 4-1 to Saint John’s

The Gustavus men’s hockey team hosted Saint John’s Friday evening and fell to the Johnnies by a score of 4-1. With the loss the Gusties fall to 10-9-3 overall and 6-5-2 in the MIAC while Saint John’s moves to 9-8-5 overall and 6-3-4 in the conference.
