Women’s Hockey Beats Augsburg 4-2

No. 6 Gustavus women’s hockey continued its winning ways Friday night at Augsburg, claiming a 4-2 victory at Ed Saugestad Rink. The Gusties are now 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the MIAC, while the Auggies fall to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the league.

Women’s Hockey Faces Off with Augsburg

No. 6 Gustavus women’s hockey faces off against Augsburg this weekend for a MIAC home-home series. The Gusties enter the weekend 5-0-0 overall and 2-0-0 in the MIAC, while the Auggies are 3-1-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the league. Friday’s game in Minneapolis begins at 7 p.m. and Saturday’s game in Saint Peter is at 2 p.m.

Men’s Hockey Opens MIAC Play This Weekend Against No. 7 Augsburg

The Gustavus men's hockey team will begin MIAC play this weekend when they take on No. 7 Augsburg. Friday's game at Don Roberts Ice Rink will begin at 7:05 p.m. while Saturday's matchup in Minneapolis is at 7 p.m. The Gusties enter the series 3-3 overall while the Auggies are 5-1-0.

Women’s Basketball Tops Martin Luther 94-26

The Gustavus women's basketball team traveled to New Ulm Tuesday and took down Martin Luther 94-26. With the win the Gusties move to 2-0 while the Knights fall to 0-5.

The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its annual All-America Teams Tuesday with Kate Holtan (Jr., Rochester) receiving Honorable Mention honors for Gustavus.

Hudson Named MIAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week

First-year swimmer Dane Hudson (Eden Prairie) had a solid meet for Gustavus at Hamline this past weekend, winning both his individual events as well as partaking in a pair of relay victories. For his performances, Hudson has been named the MIAC Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Cross Country Qualifies Three for NCAA Championships

Three Gustavus student-athletes will make the trip to Louisville, Ky. with Tierney Winter (Sr., Waterville) representing the women and Andrew Stumbo (Jr., Boone, Iowa) and Garet Grant (So., Winona) representing the men.

Men’s Soccer Falls in PKs to North Park in NCAA Second Round

It took penalty kicks for No. 19 North Park to take down the Gustavus men's soccer team in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday afternoon. The regional host Vikings were able to edge the Gusties 1-1 2OT (5-4 PK's).

Swim & Dive Cruises Past Trio of MIAC Teams

The Gustavus men’s and women’s swim & dive teams had a successful day as split squads, competing at both Hamline and Macalester.
