Men’s Soccer to Host UW-Superior Wednesday

The Gustavus men’s soccer team is set to host UW-Superior on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. non-conference matchup. The Gusties enter the contest 6-1 while the Yellowjackets are 4-1-2.

Men’s Golf Takes Second at SJU Fall Invite

The Gustavus men’s golf team Sunday improved its shot total by 10 strokes but finished just two off the lead for a second place result at the Saint John’s Fall Invitational, played at Blackberry Ridge. The Gusties shot 297-287-584 (+12) while St. Thomas won the event at 298-284-582.

Women’s Golf Claims Sixth at St. Kate’s Invite

The Gustavus women’s golf team Sunday claimed sixth place out of 12 teams at the St. Kate’s Invite, played at The Wilds Golf Club. The Gusties posted a 332-328-660. Bethel won the event at 313-309-622.

One round into the Saint John’s Fall Invitational, the Gustavus men’s golf team is tied for the lead by shooting a 297. Host Saint John’s is even with the Gusties at 297, while St. Thomas is one stroke behind.

After one round at the St. Kate’s Invite, the Gustavus women’s golf team sits in a tie for fourth place after posting a 332. Bethel leads the field after carding a 313.

Ashpole Scores Twice, Leads Women’s Soccer to Victory Over Saint Mary’s

Katie Ashpole’s (Jr., Chaska) second goal with less than four minutes remaining in the game put the Gustavus women’s soccer team on top of Saint Mary’s 2-1, which stood for a final. The Gusties move to 1-5 overall and 1-1 in the MIAC while the Cardinals are 4-2 overall and 0-2 in the league.
