2019 Women’s Soccer Season Preview
The Gustavus women’s soccer team is hoping that successful offseason training and a competitive preseason will translate into positive results after missing the MIAC playoffs last year for the first time since 2014.
Cross Country Knocks Off Rust at Alumni Meet
The Gustavus cross country program hosted its annual alumni meet Saturday at the Linnaeus Arboretum with a split men’s and women’s 5k. There were no other collegiate teams competing, so the results are unofficial.

The Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams unofficially kick off their 2019 campaigns Saturday by running in the annual alumni meet. The women’s race starts at 10 a.m. and the men are at 10:45 a.m.
Gustavus Set to Induct Eight New Members into Athletics Hall of Fame
The Gustavus Adolphus College Athletics Department has chosen eight individuals for induction into its Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2019 inductees include Luke Benoit `04 (Golf), Molly Biehn Becker `04 (Softball), Mike Gempeler `91 (Hockey), Raman Jayapathy `85 (Tennis), Neil Johnson `04 (Golf), Jackie Luehman `04 (Track & Field), Angie Peterson Potts `04 (Basketball), and Kristin Peterson Smith `04 (Track & Field).
Football Kicks Off 2019 Season with Annual Golf Tournament
The Gustavus football team welcomed 168 alumni, family and friends to its 29th annual golf tournament on Friday, Aug. 2 at Shoreland Country Club.
