Second Half Surge Propels Women’s Basketball to 64-58 Win Over St. Olaf

After a slow start Wednesday night, the Gustavus women’s basketball team was able to create separation over St. Olaf to earn a 64-58 victory. The win moves the Gusties to 6-4 overall and 3-1 in the MIAC.

Nora Holtan Earns Second Academic All-America Honor

The 2018 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America Volleyball Teams were announced Wednesday morning and Gustavus senior setter Nora Holtan (Rochester, Minn.) has been named to the seven-member Second Team. The CoSIDA Academic All-America Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Women’s Basketball Hosts St. Olaf in Final Game Before Break

The Gustavus women’s basketball team plays its final game before Christmas break tonight against St. Olaf at Gus Young Court. Tipoff between the Gusties (5-4, 2-1 MIAC) and Oles (4-5, 2-1 MIAC) is 7 p.m.
