Home Opener Ends In 2-2 Draw For Women’s Hockey

The No. 7-ranked Gustavus women's hockey team responded twice being down by a goal in the home opener at Don Roberts Ice Rink, eventually coming to a 2-2 draw after overtime versus the the No. 10-ranked University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Saturday afternoon. 

Gustie Football Downed 58-7 At No. 4 St. Thomas

The Gustavus football team closed out its 2017 road schedule with a 58-7 loss at the No. 4-ranked University of St. Thomas Saturday afternoon. The Tommies limited the Gusties to just one touchdown and outmatched the Gustavus defense with a balanced offensive attack. 

Men’s Hockey Earns 3-1 Victory In Conference Opener At St. Olaf

The Gustavus men's hockey team jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period en route to defeating St. Olaf College 3-1 to earn the first win of the season during the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opener Friday evening. 

Cross Country Competes At Saint John’s Fall Finale

A fraction of the Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams ran in the snow Friday at the Saint John’s Fall Finale. The top Gustie runners did not compete and instead rested for the NCAA regional meet that takes place next Saturday in Northfield, Minn.

Women’s Soccer Seeks Second MIAC Playoff Title Saturday At St. Kate’s

The Gustavus women’s soccer team heads to St. Paul, Minn. Saturday afternoon for the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoff championship against St. Catherine University beginning at 1 p.m. Both squads upset the entire playoff field as the No. 6 seed Gusties defeated No. 3 St. Olaf and No. 2 St. Thomas, while the No. 5 seed Wildcats beat No. 4 Saint Ben's and No. 1 Augsburg. 

Swimming & Diving Welcomes UW-Stevens Point, MSU-Mankato For Home Opener Saturday

The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams are set to host their home opener at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Gusties welcome the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Minnesota State University-Mankato to Vic Gustafson Pool.

Women’s Hockey Hosts Home Opener Saturday In Top-10 Matchup Against UW-Eau Claire

The No. 7-ranked Gustavus women’s hockey team is set to host its home opener at 2 p.m. Saturday against No. 10 UW-Eau Claire. The Gusties, who started the season with a come-from-behind 4-3 overtime victory at UW-Superior last Saturday, are celebrating tomorrow’s game as Parents’ Day. The Blugolds come to Don Roberts Ice Rink with a 2-0 overall record after starting the season with shutout wins over Saint Benedict and Hamline.

Men’s Hockey Opens Conference Slate Versus St. Olaf

The Gustavus men’s hockey team opens its 2017-18 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Schedule this weekend with a series against St. Olaf College. The Oles (1-1, 0-0 MIAC) host the Gusties (0-1-1, 0-0 MIAC) in Northfield at 7:30 p.m. Friday prior to the Gusties home opener Saturday evening at Don Roberts Ice Rink.

Football Prepares For No. 4-Ranked Tommies

The Gustavus football team is set for a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup at the No. 4-ranked University of St. Thomas Saturday afternoon in St. Paul, Minn. The Gusties (4-4, 3-3 MIAC), who recently snapped a three-game losing skid last week, look forward to a tough task ahead versus the Tommies (7-1, 6-0 MIAC), the top team in the conference. 

Alhouni Concludes Play At ITA National Fall Championships

Gustavus men's tennis standout Mohanad Alhouni's (Sr., Tripoli, Libya) trip at the 2017 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships ended Thursday with a loss in the first round of the consolation singles draws.
