Women’s Soccer Hosts Macalester On Senior Day
The Gustavus women’s soccer team concludes the regular season Saturday at the Gustie Soccer Field, hosting Macalester at 3:30 p.m. for its Senior Day. The Gusties enter the match 9-4-3 overall and 5-3-2 in the MIAC, while the Scots are 6-6-4 overall and 3-4-3 in the league. Gustavus has secured a playoff berth and is jockeying for seeding.
Swimming & Diving Opens Season Tomorrow, Split Squads At Hamline And Saint Mary’s
The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving squads are ready for the 2017-18 season to begin Saturday. The Gusties will send split squads to Hamline and Saint Mary’s. Both meets begin at 1 p.m.
Women’s Hockey Drops Puck On 2017-18 Season Saturday At UW-Superior
The Gustavus women’s hockey team is set to drop the puck on the 2017-18 campaign Saturday against the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Action begins 2 p.m. at Siinto S. Wessman Arena in Superior, Wis. The Gusties are coming off their 14th MIAC Championship season, where they boasted a 13-2-3 record in the league (19-7-3 overall), and finished third at the NCAA Championships. UW-Superior opens its season tonight against Concordia-Wisconsin. The Yellowjackets posted a 12-15 overall record last season and went 2-7 in the WIAC.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team is set to close out the 2017 regular season with a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup versus Macalester College Saturday afternoon during senior day.
Cross Country Ready For MIAC Championships
The Gustavus women’s and men’s cross country teams are set to compete at the MIAC Championships on Saturday at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn. This is the first time since 1992 the MIAC has held its Cross Country Championships at a site other than Como Golf Course in St. Paul, which hosted the conference meet 30 of the last 35 years. The women’s race begins at 11 a.m. with the men to follow at noon.

The Gustavus football team is set to host St. Olaf College Saturday afternoon at Hollingsworth Field. The Gusties (3-4, 2-3 MIAC) look to snap their three-game losing skid, taking on the Oles (4-3, 3-2 MIAC), who are currently riding a three-game winning streak.
Volleyball Wins Five-Set Thriller Over Augsburg
The No. 16-ranked Gustavus volleyball team battled back to take win in five sets over Augsburg University during senior night Wednesday evening at Gus Young Court, improving to 22-5 overall and 7-3 in the MIAC.
Miller’s Double Overtime Goal Lifts Women’s Soccer Over Hamline 1-0
It took 109 minutes and 31 seconds for the game’s first goal Wednesday and it was the Gustavus women’s soccer team that claimed a 1-0 double overtime victory at Hamline to capture a crucial MIAC victory. Chase Miller’s (Jr., Brooklyn Park, Minn.) team-leading fourth goal of the season with 29 seconds left in the game moved the Gusties to 9-4-3 overall and 5-3-2 in the MIAC, while the Pipers dropped to 8-7-2 overall and 4-5-1 in the league.

The Gustavus women’s soccer team is set to compete in its final road game of the regular season today at Hamline University. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. at Pat Paterson Fields. The Gusties enter the matchup 8-4-3 overall and 4-3-2 in the MIAC (5th), while the Pipers are 8-6-2 overall and 4-4-1 in the league (7th).
