Men’s Soccer Continues Road Stretch At Augsburg
The Gustavus men’s soccer team continues Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon, traveling to Minneapolis, Minn. to take on Augsburg University. The Gusties (6-4-0 overall, 2-2-0 MIAC) will look to carry the momentum from their Wednesday victory into the match against the Auggies (6-3-0, 2-1-0 MIAC), taking the pitch at 5 p.m.
Women’s Soccer Set For Battle Of Top Two Teams In The MIAC
The Gustavus women’s soccer team is set for a battle of the top two teams in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on Saturday as it travels to first place Augsburg. The contest will be played under the lights, starting at 7:30 p.m. The Gusties enter the match with a 6-2-1 overall record and 3-1 mark in the MIAC (tied for second place), while the Auggies are 5-2-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the league.
Cross Country Takes Part In Carleton’s Running Of The Cows Saturday
After two weeks off, the Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams are back in action Saturday at Carleton’s Running of the Cows. The men’s race beings at 10:30 a.m., while the women follow at 11:15 a.m.
Gustavus To Host ITA Men’s Tennis Midwest Regional Championships
Gustavus Adolphus College is set to host the 2017 Men’s ITA Midwest Regional Championships and the 2017 Midwest Open in St. Peter, Minnesota this weekend. The tournaments will run from Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 2 and will feature several of the top teams in the region at eight sites throughout St. Peter and the surrounding area.
Gustie Football Heads North To Battle Concordia
The Gustavus football team heads north to face Concordia College for a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30. The Gusties (3-1, 2-0 MIAC) come off their largest offensive output since 2015 to face the Cobbers (3-0, 1-0 MIAC), who opened conference play two weekends ago with a 31-7 victory over Bethel University.
Volleyball Overmatches Macalester In Home Court Sweep
The No. 11-ranked Gustavus volleyball team made quick work of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent Macalester College Wednesday evening at Gus Young Court, earning its 12th sweep of the season over the Scots.
Women’s Soccer Scores Three First Half Goals In Victory At St. Olaf
The Gustavus women’s soccer team got back in the win column Wednesday evening, defeating St. Olaf 3-1. The win moves the Gusties to 6-2-1 overall and 3-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, while the Oles drop to 5-5 overall and 3-1 in the league.
