The Gustavus men’s soccer team concludes the regular season at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Hamline University. The Gusties enter the game with a 6-8-1 overall record and 5-3-1 mark in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and are fighting for potentially the No. 2 seed in the league playoffs, while Hamline enters at 9-5-2 overall and 3-4-2 in the conference, and is battling for a spot in the postseason having not secured a spot yet.

Men’s Hockey Drops Season Opener 5-2 To Saint John’s

The Gustavus men’s hockey team dropped its season opener Friday 5-2 to Saint John’s at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Showcase. The Gusties and Johnnies were tied 2-2 at the second intermission, but a pair of even-strength goals in the third period followed by a late power play goal led to the lopsided defeat.

Volleyball Wraps Up Regular Season Saturday At Saint Mary’s

The Gustavus volleyball team wraps up the regular season Saturday at Saint Mary’s University. Men’s Hockey Kicks Off 75th Season This Weekend At MIAC Showcase

After a quick two weeks of preseason practice, the Gustavus men’s hockey team is set to kick off its 75th season at the MIAC Showcase in Blaine, Minn. Friday and Saturday with a pair of non-conference games. The Gusties take on Saint John’s at 7 p.m. tonight followed by a 6:30 p.m. game tomorrow against St. Olaf.

Volleyball Locks Up No. 2 Seed For MIAC Playoffs, Holtan Reaches 2,000-Assist Mark

The Gustavus volleyball team Wednesday locked up the No. 2 seed and a first round bye in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Playoffs with a shutout victory over Hamline University. The Gusties defeated the Pipers 25-20, 25-17, 25-23 to improve to 21-6 overall and 9-1 in the MIAC.

Volleyball Travels To Hamline Tonight

The Gustavus volleyball team begins a two-match stretch on the road tonight as it travels to Hamline University for a 7 p.m. Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference bout. The Gusties enter the match with a 20-6 overall record and 8-1 mark in the MIAC, while the Pipers are 11-9 overall and 4-5 in the league. The Gusties have already clinched a spot in the MIAC Playoffs, while the Pipers are on the outside looking in and will try to play spoiler in the seeding battle.
