Men’s Soccer Tops Saint Mary’s 1-0 In Double Overtime

The Gustavus men’s soccer team earned its first victory in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Tuesday in dramatic fashion, defeating Saint Mary’s 1-0 in double overtime. The Gusties improve to 2-7-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the MIAC, while the Cardinals drop to 5-4-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the league.

The Gusties enter today's match with a 1-7-1 overall record, while the Cardinals own a 5-3 overall record.

Men’s Golf Takes Second At Twin Cities Classic

The Gustavus men’s golf team wrapped up the Twin Cities Classic on a blustery Monday at the Le Sueur Country Club, finishing in second place of 16 teams. The Gusties posted a 313 in the final round for a total of 890 (+34), seven strokes behind the winner Saint John’s. The University of Manitoba took third place, four strokes behind Gustavus.

Women’s Golf Finishes Fifth At College City Challenge

The Gustavus women's golf team earned a fifth place finish out of 13 teams at the College City Challenge after turning in a two-round total of 654. St. Catherine took home the title with a score of 641. Mae Meierhenry (Sr., Sioux Falls, S.D.) and Morgan Bleyhl (Fy., Elk River, Minn.) both tied for 13th place.

Women’s Tennis Has Successful Showing At USTA/ITA Midwest Regional

The Gustavus women’s tennis team hosted the 2016 USTA/ITA Midwest Regional Tournament this weekend, which featured 30 of the top teams in the region. The Gusties had a good showing in both the singles and doubles draws with four individuals making the final 16 in singles play and one doubles team in the final four.

Men’s Golf Remains In First At Twin Cities Classic After Round Two

Through two rounds at the Twin Cities Classic, the Gustavus men’s golf team remains in first place after shooting a 294 in the second round - which was played at the Elk River Golf Course - for a total of 577 (+6), which is three strokes ahead of Saint John’s and five ahead of the University of Manitoba.

Alhouni Claims Runner-Up At Drake Invitational

The Gustavus men's tennis team completed their first event of the fall campaign this weekend at the Drake Invitational in Des Moines, Iowa. Mohanad Alhouni (Jr., Tripoli, Libya) finished as the runner-up in the Flight 1 singles draw.

Women’s Golf Sits Well After Round One Of College City Challenge

HASTINGS, Minn. - The Gustavus women's golf team sits in third place after day one at the College City Challenge at Bellwood Oaks Golf Club, hosted by Carleton College. The Gusties shot a team score of 321 and sit one stroke behind Carleton and two strokes behind first place University of St. Thomas.
