Baseball Drops Doubleheader At Tucson Invite Against DePauw

The Gustavus baseball team kicked off the Tucson Invitational on Friday with a doubleheader against DePauw University, but suffered a pair of losses, 6-0 and 5-4, to fall to 2-4 on the season.

Track & Field Teams Head To California For PLNU Invite On Saturday

The Gustavus Adolphus College men's and women's track and field teams will each compete in the Point Loma Nazarene University Invitational held in San Diego this Saturday. Approximately 20 Gusties will make the trip west to compete in the spring break meet.

Baseball Set To Compete In Eight Games At Tucson Invitational

The Gustavus baseball team is on its way south to compete in its annual spring trip, which this year is in Tucson, Ariz. at the Kino Sports Complex, former spring training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago White Sox. The Gusties enter the Tucson Invitational with a 2-2 overall record and are set to compete in eight games (one JV) over the six-day trip.

Baseball Splits At Northwestern-St. Paul

For the second time in two days, the Gustavus baseball team earned a doubleheader split on the road. On Tuesday, the Gusties shut out Northwestern-St. Paul 3-0 in game one, but lost 4-3 in game two, moving to 2-2 overall on the season.

Men’s Tennis Ranked No. 19, Women No. 39 In Most Recent ITA National Polls

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s and women’s tennis teams are each ranked in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) national polls that were released last Thursday. The men’s team is ranked 19th, while the women’s squad is ranked 39th.

Men’s Golf Ranked No. 20, Women No. 22 In Most Recent GCAA National Polls

The Gustavus Adolphus College men's and women's golf teams are each ranked in the top-25 nationally in the most recent Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) poll that was released last Wednesday. The men's team is ranked 20th with 76 points, while the women's squad is ranked 22nd with 100 points.

Baseball Travels To Northwestern-St. Paul Today

The Gustavus baseball team continues its early season slate of non-league games this evening as it travels to the Twin Cities to face the University of Northwestern-St. Paul for a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. The Gusties enter the contest with a 1-1 overall record, while the Eagles are 4-9.

Baseball Begins Season With Split Against Mount Marty

The Gustavus baseball team opened its season Sunday with a doubleheader against Mount Marty after inclement weather cancelled Saturday’s scheduled season-opener. The Gusties dropped their first game 3-1, but rebounded in game two with a 2-0 win to start the season 1-1.

Softball Wraps Up Tucson Invite With 6-2 Loss To UW-Eau Claire

The Gustavus softball team concluded the Tucson Invitational Sunday with a 6-2 loss to UW-Eau Claire, moving to 6-4 overall. The Blugolds took an early 4-0 lead after the first two innings, which proved to be too large of a deficit for the Gusties to come back from.

Five Women’s Swimmers Compete At NCAA Championships

Five Gustavus women’s swimmers represented the College at the NCAA Championships this week –seniors Leah Anderson (Apple Valley, Minn.) and Tarin Anding (Sartell, Minn.), junior Nicole Lohman (North Mankato, Minn.), sophomore Kate Reilly (Hastings, Minn.), and first-year Maggie Webster (Apple Valley, Minn.). Competition lasted Wednesday through Saturday and the Gusties fared well on the national stage.
