The Gustavus Adolphus College women's basketball team used a big first half to take a 23-point lead into halftime and eventually come away with a 67-55 victory on Friday evening at Alumni Gymnasium. The win allows the Gusties to improve to 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the MIAC, while the Scots fall to 5-5 overall and 1-3 in the conference.

Women’s Basketball Holds Off Bethel Comeback, Wins 71-63

The Gustavus Adolphus College women's basketball team was able to hold off a late run from Bethel University on Wednesday at held on for a 71-63 victory at Gus Young Court. Up 59-42 with 9:36 remaining, the Gusties found their lead at just five only four minutes later (60-55), but key free-throw shooting down the stretch allowed them to improve their conference record to 2-1 and overall record to 5-2.

Early Lead Fades Away As Men’s Basketball Falls 82-73 At Bethel

Despite holding a lead for most of the first half and early in the second, the Gustavus men’s basketball team lost 82-73 at Bethel University on Wednesday night. With the loss, the Gusties fall to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the MIAC, while the Royals remain unbeaten at 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the league.
