The game served as the first of two competitions for Gustavus during its winter training trip, and with the win, allows it to improve to 8-2 overall. The 29 points allowed by the Black and Gold is also the lowest point total by an opponent since the Gusties defeated Macalester College 51-23 on Feb. 15, 2006.
