Men’s Golf In First Place After Day One Of Bobby Krig Invite

After touring the country and much of Minnesota throughout its 2012 campaign, the Gustavus men’s golf team sits in first place after day one of its first home meet of the season – the Bobby Krig Invitational – held at Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan, Minn. and the Le Sueur Country Club in Le Sueur, Minn. The Gusties shot a 294 (+6) in the first round Sunday and sit in a tie for first with Saint John’s University. The University of St. Thomas rounds out the top three with a 297 (+9).

Men’s Tennis Caps Weekend With Another Shutout, 9-0 Over St. Thomas

The Gustavus men’s tennis team completed a weekend sweep of its two MIAC opponents after defeating the University of St. Thomas 9-0 Sunday morning in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties shut out Carleton on Saturday as well. The win over the Tommies improves the Three Crowns to 17-7 overall as they maintain their undefeated mark in the MIAC at 8-0. St. Thomas falls to 10-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play.
