No. 20 St. Thomas Ends Women’s Basketball 12-Game Win Streak 72-52

The Gustavus women’s basketball team jumped out to a 3-2 lead to open Saturday afternoon’s game in St. Peter, Minn., but 20th-ranked St. Thomas responded with 12 unanswered points and never looked back en rout to a 72-52 Tommie victory. The loss ended a program record 12-game MIAC win streak for the Gusties, who fall to 15-3 overall and 13-2 in the conference, while the Tommie stay perfect in the league at 15-0 and 17-1 overall.

Men’s Basketball Downs MIAC Leader St. Thomas 82-77 In Overtime

Women’s Basketball Looks To Upset No. 20 St. Thomas Saturday On Gus Young Court

The MIAC's two premier women's basketball teams will square off Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. as conference-leading St. Thomas pays a visit to second place Gustavus for a 1:00 p.m. showdown on Gus Young Court. Gustavus enters at 15-2 overall and 13-1 in the conference, and 20th-ranked St. Thomas is 16-1 overall and a perfect 14-0 in league play.
