Women’s Tennis Wins MIAC Playoff Title 5-2 Over Carleton

The Gustavus women's tennis team won its fifth straight MIAC Playoff Championship with 5-2 victory over Carleton on Saturday in St. Peter. With the win, Gustavus improves to 19-9 on the season and earns the MIAC’s berth into the NCAA Regional Championships.

Men’s and Women’s Tennis Set To Host MIAC Playoffs This Weekend

Gustavus will serve as the host for both the MIAC Men's and Women's Playoff Championships this Friday and Saturday at the Brown Outdoor Tennis Complex. The 2011 Playoff Tournament begins at noon on Friday, May 6 with two Quarterfinal men's matches, while the women's playoff begins with two Quarterfinal matches at 3:00 pm.

Men’s Tennis Wraps Up Regular Season With Convincing Wins At Macalester, Luther

The Gustavus men's tennis closed out its 2011 regular season with a convincing 9-0 win at Macalester on Saturday evening and another impressive 8-1 win at Luther on Sunday evening. The win over the Scots clinched the outright MIAC regular season title for the Gusties, their 26th consecutive title, while the win over Luther gave the team an important regional win over the Norse.

Sukalski’s Gem Helps Baseball Earn Split With Hamline

The Gustavus baseball team split its MIAC doubleheader at Hamline on Wednesday winning game one 3-0 and losing game two 9-8 in 11 innings. Cody Sukalski led the Gusties in the first game as he pitched a five-hit complete game shutout, while also going 2-for-4 at the plate with a triple and one RBI.
