Men’s And Women’s Track & Field Takes Part In Drake Alternative

The Gustavus men’s and women’s track and field teams battled through windy conditions throughout the afternoon at the 11th Annual Drake Alternative held in St. Peter, Minn. on Saturday. The men’s (2) and women’s (6) squads combined for eight individual event wins at the meet, as no team scores were kept.

Women’s Tennis Match At Carleton Moved Indoors

Rain has moved today's Carleton-Gustavus match indoors at LifeTime Fitness in Lakeville, Minn. Warmups start at 3pm, with a match start time of 3:30pm. The match was originally scheduled to be played at the Bell Outdoor Courts on the Carleton campus in Northield.

Baseball, Softball Postponed For Saturday

The Gustavus baseball doubleheader with Saint John's and the softball doubleheader with Saint Ben's both of which were scheduled to be played on Saturday afternoon have been postponed due to rain.

Sukalski Hurls Two-Hitter To Help Baseball Gain Split With Carleton

Senior pitcher Cody Sukalski fired a complete game two-hit shutout to help the Gustavus baseball team defeat Carleton 1-0 in the first game of a MIAC doubleheader in Northfield on Friday afternoon. The Knights scored five runs in the first inning of the second game on their way to a 5-0 win and a split with the Gusties.

Kolquist Named MIAC Men’s Golf Athlete Of The Week

Gustavus men's golfer Alex Kolquist (So., Hermantown, Minn.) has been named one of three Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Golf Athletes of the Week following his performance at the Saint John's Invitational on April 22-23.

Janey Helland Finishes Fifth In Heptathlon At Drake Relays

Gustavus Adolphus senior track and field standout Janey Helland earned a total of 4,735 points to finish fifth in the heptathlon at the Drake Relays held in Des Moines, Iowa. Helland is the first Gustavus athlete to compete in the heptathlon at the meet. Her score automatically qualifies her for the NCAA Championships and is the second best recorded in NCAA Division III so far this season.

Softball Rolls At Macalester, 13-0 And 18-2

The Gustavus softball team pounded out 30 hits in its doubleheader against Macalester on Thursday afternoon in St. Paul, sweeping the Scots by scores of 13-0 and 18-2. The Gusties, who extended their winning streak to six games with the victories, improve to 22-11-1 overall and 15-2-1. Macalester falls to 8-24 overall and 1-15 in the MIAC.

Beth Hauer Stands Out At Hamline Twilight

Janey Helland In Sixth Place In Heptathlon After First Day At Drake Relays

Gustavus Adolphus senior track and field athlete Janey Helland registered 2,679 points and sits in sixth place after the first day of the heptathlon competition at the Drake Relays being held in Des Moines, Iowa.

Baseball At Carleton Postponed Again, Re-Scheduled For Friday

The Gustavus baseball doubleheader against Carleton originally scheduled for Tuesday in Northfield and moved to Wednesday and then Thursday has been postponed again due to cold and rain and re-scheduled for tomorrow (Friday) in Northfield at 2:30 pm.
