Men’s Cross Country Receives USTFCCCA All-Academic Honor

The Gustavus men's cross country team was recognized this week by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as an All-Academic team.

Opsahl’s Career Night Not Enough To Push Gymnastics Team Past UW-Stout

Samantha Opsahl shattered her career best scores on both the balance beam (9.325) and floor exercise (9.300) on Thursday night at the Sponberg Gymnastics Studio, but it wasn't enough to help the Gusties defeat UW-Stout in a dual meet in St. Peter, Minn. The Blue Devils posted a team score of 178.750, while the Gusties registered a team total of 173.400.

Women’s Swimming & Diving In First Place Following Day One At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women's swimming and diving team is currently in first place with 238 points after day one of competition at the 2011 MIAC Championships being held at the Aquatics Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.

Men’s Basketball Falls At Augsburg 68-61

The Gustavus men's basketball team saw its recent struggles continue with a 68-61 loss to Augsburg in Minneapolis on Wednesday night. The Gusties led 31-23 at the half, but Augsburg out-scored Gustavus 45-30 in the second half to claim the seven-point victory.

Women’s Basketball Tops Augsburg 85-45, Molly Geske Hits 1000-Point Milestone

The Gustavus women’s basketball team cruised to an 85-45 victory over Augsburg on Wednesday night in St. Peter, Minn. Molly Geske notched her 1,000th career point in the win, scoring a game-high 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting. Abby Rothenbuehler recorded her first double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Cartony Scores Twice, Women’s Hockey Beats UW-Stevens Point 5-1

The Gustavus women's hockey team put together a full-team performance to defeat UW-Stevens Point 5-1 on Tuesday night at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter. Amanda Cartony scored two goals for the Gusties and now has four goals in the last three games.
