Men’s Basketball Tops Augsburg 66-58 For Third Straight Win

The Gustavus men's basketball team improved to 9-5 overall and 7-2 in the MIAC with a solid 66-58 win over Augsburg on Monday night in St. Peter. Paul Blacklock and Tyler Grey led the Gusties in scoring with 14 points each.

Men’s & Women’s Nordic Skiing Finish Second At State Championship

The Gustavus men’s and women’s nordic ski teams wrapped up competition at the Hilltop Invitational in style on Sunday with several noteworthy races landing the teams in third and fifth place, respectively, in the overall standings for the classic event.

Mathiowetz Scores 22 Points, Women’s Basketball Tops Augsburg 91-70

The Gustavus women's basketball team rolled to a 91-70 victory over Augsburg on Monday night in Minneapolis. Molly Mathiowetz recorded a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds. With the victory, the Gusties improve to 7-7 overall and 6-5 in the MIAC, while Augsburg falls to 3-11 overall and 2-9 in the MIAC.

Nordic Ski Teams Hang Tough In First Day of Hilltop Invite

After the first day of competition at the Central Collegiate Ski Association's Hilltop Invitational, the Gustavus men’s and women’s nordic ski teams have both provided promising races in spite of the stiff level of competition. The men’s team skied its way to a fifth place finish in the 10K Freestyle and the women placed sixth in the 5K Freestyle.

Women’s Swimming & Diving Drops Dual 164.5-133.5 To Carleton

The Gustavus women’s swimming and diving team fell 164-134 to conference rival Carleton on Friday night in Northfield, Minn.

The Gustavus men’s swimming and diving came away with a big dual victory over Carleton 157-143 on Friday night in Northfield, Minn. Whitaker Davis led the Gusties with wins in the 200 fly, 200 free, and 200 IM.

Men’s Basketball Moves Into Second Place With Win Over Carleton

The Gustavus men's basketball team locked up in a physical, defensive battle with Carleton at Gus Young Court in St. Peter on Saturday afternoon and mustered just enough offense to slip past the Knights by the score of 56-51.

Zach May Scores Twice As Men’s Hockey Defeats Augsburg 4-1

The Gustavus men's hockey team defeated Augsburg 4-1 on Saturday night in St. Peter, Minn. Zach May capped off a breakout weekend with a pair of goals in the victory. With the win, Gustavus improves to 4-2-2 in the MIAC and 10-5-2 overall, while Augsburg falls to 2-3-1 in the MIAC and 8-5-2 overall.

Women’s Basketball Holds Off Carleton 68-63

Following a big first half lead for the Gustavus women's basketball team, Carleton battled back to bring the score to within three points with less than a minute to play. The Gusties were able to hold off the Knights and hang on for a 68-63 on Saturday afternoon on Gus Young Court. Gustavus improves to 5-5 in the MIAC and 6-7 overall, while Carleton falls to 2-7 in the MIAC and 3-9 overall.

Women’s Hockey Skates To 0-0 Draw With Trinity

In a game that pitted two of the top women's hockey teams in NCAA Division III, seventh-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College skated to a 0-0 tie with eighth-ranked Trinity College on Friday night at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter, Minn. Both teams had numerous scoring opportunities throughout the 65 minutes of play, but outstanding goaltending by Gustavus' Danielle Justice and Trinity's Alexa Pujol thwarted every scoring chance which led to the draw.
