The Gustavus women’s basketball team came away with a thrilling 67-58 double-overtime victory over St. Olaf on Monday night in Northfield, Minn. With the victory, Gustavus improves to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the MIAC. St. Olaf falls to 4-2 overall and 1-2 in the MIAC.
Gustavus Adolphus first-year swimmer Laura Drake has been named MIAC Women’s Swimming Athlete of the Week for her efforts this past weekend at the Falcon Invite held at the Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.

The Gusties recorded two relay wins, as Kelsey Lucia was the top individual performer with two top-three finishes. No team scores were kept at the meet.

The Gustavus women's hockey team moved into sole possession of first place in the MIAC with a hard-fought 1-0 win over St. Thomas on Saturday afternoon at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter. Tam Meuwissen scored the game-winner for the Gusties when she tipped a blast by Kirstin Peterson from the blue line past Tommie goaltender Alise Riedel at the 16:07 mark of the first period.
