Women’s Soccer Falls 3-1 To St. Thomas

The Gustavus women's soccer team fell 3-1 to St. Thomas on Wednesday afternoon in St. Paul. With the loss, Gustavus falls to 5-10 overall and 1-7 in the MIAC, while St. Thomas improves to 10-6 overall and 6-3 in the MIAC with the victory.

Volleyball Falls To St. Ben’s 0-3

The Gustavus volleyball team lost its MIAC match with St. Ben's 0-3 on Wednesday night at Gus Young Court in St. Peter. The set scores were 20-25, 19-25, 18-25. Angela Ahrendt led the Gustavus attack as she recorded 12 kills in 26 attempts with one error for an impressive .423 attack percentage.

Men’s Soccer Stays In Playoff Hunt With 2-0 Win Over St. Thomas

The Gustavus men's soccer team continued its quest for one of the four MIAC Playoff spots with an important 2-0 win over St. Thomas in St. Peter on Tuesday afternoon. Junior midfielder Doug Frey tallied two second half goals to allow the Gusties to move into fifth place in the MIAC standings with a league mark of 3-1-3 (12 points).

Men’s Soccer Unbeaten Streak Snapped in 1-0 Loss To U-W Whitewater

The Gustavus men’s soccer team saw its seven game unbeaten streak come to an end against #8 ranked U-W Whitewater with a 1-0 loss on Sunday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties were able to hold U-W Whitewater scoreless until the 73rd minute of the match, when a hard kick in front of the Gustavus goal found the corner of the net to give the Warhawks a lead that they never relinquished.

Offense Struggles, Football Falls 20-0 To Bethel

The Gustavus football team was shut out 20-0 to Bethel on Saturday afternoon in Arden Hills, Minn. Gustavus falls to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the MIAC, while Bethel improves to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the MIAC.

Frank Advances To Championship Match At ITA Championships

Samantha Frank continued her strong run at the USTA/ITA Small College Championships as she advanced to the championship match of the singles draw with a hard-fought win over Karisse Bendijo of The College of New Jersey by the score of 7-5, 7-5 on Friday morning.

Football Set To Take On Bethel In MIAC Bout Saturday

The Gustavus football team will travel to Arden Hills, Minn. on Saturday, Oct. 16, to take on the Bethel University Royals at 1:00 p.m. Gustavus enters the game with a an overall record of 3-2 and a MIAC record of 2-1, while Bethel comes in with an overall record of 5-0 and a MIAC record of 3-0.

Sam Frank Advances To Semifinals At ITA Championships

Gustavus senior tennis player Samantha Frank registered a first round upset at the ITA Small College Championships on Thursday afternoon in Mobile, Alabama. Frank defeated #2 seed Zahra Dawson of Emory University 6-3, 6-3.

Volleyball Comes Up Short At #14 St. Thomas

The Gustavus volleyball team turned in a valiant effort against #14 St. Thomas in St. Paul on Wednesday night, but the first-place Tommies prevailed by a score of 3-1 (28-26, 15-25, 25-13, 25-15). Dana Boerboom led the Gustavus attack with 11 kills.

Men’s Soccer Continues Winning Ways With 1-0 Win At Macalester

The Gustavus men's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to seven matches (5-0-2) with a 1-0 win over #19 Macalester on Wednesday night in St. Paul. Mark Adams scored the game-winner for the Gusties in the 39th minute, while Luke Strom posted his third consecutive shutout in goal.
