Men’s Golf Finishes 11th at Emory Invitational, Kolquist Finishes 17th Individually

The Gustavus men's golf team registered an 11th place finish out of 17 teams at the Emory Invitational in Atlanta, Georgia. Alex Kolquist was the top Gustie individual finisher as he tied for 17th with a total of 76-78--154.

Drenttel and Schenfeld Named Co-MIAC Golfers of the Week

Gustavus golfers Taylor Drenttel and Katie Schenfeld have been named Co-Golfers of the Week by the MIAC women's golf coaches. Drenttel and Schenfeld helped the Gusties finish first at the Augustana Spring Invitational last weekend.

Women’s Golf Wins Augustana Invitational

The Gustavus women's golf team opened its Spring season by winning the Augustana Spring Invitational. The Gusties fired a 36-hole team score of 303-307--610 to finish 10 strokes ahead of runner-up Augustana. Taylor Drenttel (74-75) and Katie Schenfeld (73-76) finished in a three-way tie for first place with a total of 149 (+5).

Women’s Golf In First Place After First Day of Augustana Invitational

The Gustavus women's golf sits in first place after the first day of the 13-team Augustana Invitational being held at the Prairie Green Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Gusties shot a team total of 303 and holds a four shot lead over the host Vikings who fired a team score of 307.

Softball Runs Win Streak To Five Games With Sweep Of Hamline

The Gustavus softball continued its winning ways with a doubleheader sweep of Hamline University in St. Paul on Saturday afternoon by the scores of 5-2 an 3-1. Emily Wendorff led the Gusties at the plate going 3-for-5 with two doubles. Betsie Collins was the winning pitcher in game one, while Callie Nelsen picked up the win in game two.

Men’s Tennis Knocks Off Carleton 6-3 To Stay Unbeaten In League Play

The Gustavus men's tennis team knocked off pre-season league favorite Carleton 6-3 in an important league dual match on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter. The Gusties trailed 2-1 after doubles play, but won five of the six singles matches to claim the 6-3 victory. Gustavus improves to 10-7 overall and 5-0 in the MIAC, while Carleton falls to 10-3 overall and 3-1 in league play.

Softball Posts Convincing Sweep Against St. Catherine

The Gustavus softball team posted a convincing doubleheader sweep of St. Catherine on Thursday afternoon by the scores of 15-1 and 12-0. The Gusties pounded out 28 hits and scored 27 runs in the two games, while allowing only four hits and one run.

Women’s Tennis Defeats Northern State 8-1, St. Scholastica 9-0, and Winona State 5-4

The Gustavus women's tennis team had an undefeated Saturday with victories over non-conference opponents Northern State University, The College of St. Scholastica, and Winona State University. The Gusties defeated Northern State 8-1, St. Scholastica 9-0, and Winona State 5-4. Gustavus improves to 22-10 overall on the season.

Hanson And Bartley Register Wins For Men’s Outdoor Track & Field At Lee Krough Invitational

The Gustavus men’s outdoor track and field totaled 19 top five finishes and two event wins at the Lee Krough Invitational held on the Gustavus Outdoor Track and Field Complex on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. Max Hanson and Mark Bartley turned in the top Gustavus performances of the meet. Hanson was victorious in the 1500-meter run (3:57.63), and Bartley won the 3000-meter steeplechase (10:17.45). No team scores were kept at the meet.

Baseball Splits Doubleheader With St. Mary’s

The Gustavus Baseball team split its second doubleheader of the MIAC regular season with Saint Mary’s, losing the first game 10-3 before winning the second game 8-2 on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. Chad Eul had a big day at the plate, going 4-5 and driving in four runs.
