Women’s Soccer Battles #22 UW-Stevens Point To 0-0 Tie In Two Overtimes

The Gustavus women's soccer team received a strong performance from first year goalkeeper Jessica Richert, who recorded her first career shutout, and battled #22 UW-Stevens Point to a 0-0 tie after playing through 90 minutes of regulation play and two 10 minute overtimes. It was the first tie of the season for the Gusties who move to 6-4-1 overall.

Men’s Soccer Falls To St. Olaf 1-0

The Gustavus men's soccer team saw its struggles continue with a 1-0 loss to St. Olaf on Saturday in St. Peter. The Gusties are 0-2-1 over the last week scoring only one goal in the three matches. The Oles tallied the gamewinner in the fourth minute of the contest off a header by Nate Swenson.

Ryan Hoag’s Blog – Last Day of Training Camp!

"I'm happy to report that we have finally finished our last day of "training camp" and after meetings tonight, we finally get a day off after 18 straight days of football. Tomorrow and Monday we have days off, with Sunday being a shorter practice and Tuesday starting a game week. I am looking forward to getting away from football for awhile ." Gustavus Set To Host 2009 ITA Midwest Regional Tennis Tournament

Gustavus Adolphus College is hosting the Wilson/ITA Midwest Regional Championship at the Swanson Indoor Tennis Center and the Brown Outdoor Courts. The Men's Division III Midwest Region Championships will take place Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4. The Wilson/ITA Men's Division III Regional at Gustavus will feature 26 of the top small college tennis programs in the region.

Football Player TJ Ridley Named Semifinalist For National Football Foundations National Scholar-Athlete Award

The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced today the 154 semifinalists for the 2009 William V. Campbell Trophy (formerly known as the Draddy Trophy), endowed by HealthSouth, and the candidates for the 2009 NFF National Scholar- Athlete Awards. Gustavus senior defensive back T.J. Ridley has been selected as one of those 154 semifinalists.
