Men’s Basketball Holds On For 78-71 Win At Augsburg

The Gustavus men's basketball team built a double-digit second half lead against Augsburg and then held off a late Auggie rally to claim a 78-71 conference victory. Senior Andrew Doble came off the bench to lead the Gusties with 21 points. Gustavus is now 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the MIAC.

Women’s Swimming Finishes Second And Men’s Swimming Finishes Fifth At Carthage Invite

The Gustavus women's swimming team finished second with 1,224 points behind St. Cloud State University after the Carthage Invitational concluded on Saturday in Kenosha, Wis. The Gustavus men's swimming team turned in a fifth place performance with 852 points behind first place St. Cloud State University. Both squads turned in twelve more top five finishes including one National "B" Provisional qualifying finish on Saturday.

Women’s Hockey Extends Winning Streak to Six Games after 6-0 Win Over Saint Mary’s

The Gustavus women's hockey team extended its winning streak to six games with a 6-0 victory over Saint Mary's Saturday afternoon at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter. The Gustie special team units played well for the second consecutive game as the squad converted three out of seven power play opportunities. Gustavus improves its record to 6-1-0 overall and remains undefeated in MIAC play. Saint Mary's dropped to 1-4-0 overall and 1-3-0 in the league.

Second Half Scoring Drought Dooms Women’s Basketball in 57-54 Loss to Augsburg

The Gustavus Adolphus women's basketball team managed to build a 15-point lead with 14:49 remaining in the second half. Unfortunately, that was when the scoring stopped as Augsburg went on to outscore the Gusties 25-7 en route to a 57-54 win in Minneapolis on Saturday afternoon. The final offensive run was a team effort as seven different players scored for the Auggies.
