Schneider Places Eleventh in Pole Vault at NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

Senior Kristi Schneider placed eleventh in the pole vault clearing a height of 10' 10" at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. The championships are being hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois.

Women’s Swimming Advances 200 Medley Relay to Finals on Friday Night

The Gustavus women's swimming and diving team advanced the 200 medley relay team to the finals on the second day of the NCAA Division III Championships. The event is being held at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.

 

Batalden Receives NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

Senior Rachel Batalden, a two-time MIAC All-Conference selection at setter for the Gustavus women's volleyball team, has been selected as one of 56 student-athletes from across the country to receive an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.

Senior pole vaulter Kristi Schneider (Hastings, Minn.) will be competing at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships March 11-12. The championships are being hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University.

 

Women’s Swimming in Eighth Place After First Day at NCAA Championships

The Gustavus women's swimming team compiled 55.5 points at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships and is in eighth place after the first day of competition. The national meet is taking place at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.

200 Free Relay Just Misses National Title

The Gustavus women's 200 free relay team just missed capturing the program's first ever national title this evening at the NCAA Division III Championships. The team of Beth DeLaRosby, Katie Garvey, Laurie Decknatel, and Laura Watkins finished second.

Women’s Hockey NCAA Tournament Game Against UW-Stevens Point Will Be Broadcast on the Internet

The Gustavus women's hockey team will face UW-Stevens Point in a NCAA Tournament quarterfinal game on Saturday at 8:00 pm in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The game will be broadcast over the internet through Teamline Broadcasting.

The Gustavus Adolphus College women's swimming and diving team will have six student-athletes competing at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. The championships will take place March 10-12 at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.

 

Detlefsen Named to MIAC Men’s Hockey All-Conference Team

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the men's hockey post-season awards last week and Gustavus junior defenseman Keith Detlefsen (Lakeville, Minn.) has been named to all-conference team for the second consecutive season.
