Men’s Soccer Defeats Augsburg 2-0

The Gustavus men's soccer team defeated Augsburg College 2-0 on Friday night in Minneapolis, Minn. Ryan Beduhn and Caleb Bousu were the goal scorers for the Gusties. The win gave head coach Larry Zelenz his 200th victory at Gustavus.

Volleyball Falls to #21 St. Ben’s

The Gustavus volleyball team lost a tough, five-game match to the College of St. Benedict, the #21 ranked team in the country (24-30, 21-30, 30-28, 30-26, 10-15). The Gusties are now 14-6 overall and 4-3 in the MIAC.

Football Team Prepares to Face Augsburg on Saturday

The Gustavus Adolphus College football team will travel to Minneapolis to face Augsburg College on Saturday at 1:00 pm. The Gusties will be looking to extend their six-game winning streak against the Auggies.

The Gustavus men's golf team is set to compete in the MIAC Championships October 9-10 at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids, Minn. The Gusties are in search of their third consecutive conference title.

The Gustavus women's golf team is set to compete in the MIAC Golf Championships October 9-10 at Willingers Golf Club in Northfield, Minn. The Gusties are in search of their first MiAC title after a third place finish in 2003.

Volleyball Posts Upset Over #24 Carleton College

The Gustavus volleyball team gained a five-game upset over nationally-ranked Carleton College Wednesday night in St. Peter (27-30, 30-18, 30-25, 27-30, 15-13). The Gusties had five players with ten or more kills and six players with ten or more digs.

Joe Hartwell Named MIAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College senior defender Joe Hartwell (Apple Valley Minn.) anchored a defense that has allowed no MIAC goals this season, shutting out Saint Mary's, Carleton and Luther this week.

Breanne Staples Named MIAC Golfer of the Week

Gustavus sophomore Breanne Staples (Windom, Minn.) tied for first place at the Saint Benedict Invitational at the Greystone Golf Club this past weekend. Staples won the event with a score of 85-79--164 and was named MIAC Women's Golfer of the Week.

Men’s Golf Places Sixth at Twin Cities Invite

The Gustavus men's golf team compiled a team score of 920 to place sixth at the Twin Cities Invitational on Monday afternoon at the Stillwater Country Club in Stillwater, Minn. St. Cloud State University recorded a team score of 904 to win the invite.

Men’s Soccer Defeats Luther 2-0

The Gustavus men's soccer team defeated Luther College 2-0 on Sunday afternoon in Decorah, Iowa. Joe Hartwell and Alex Groth were the goal scorers for Gustavus. The Gusties extend their unbeaten streak to 28 games.
