Men’s Golf Opens Season at St. John’s Invite

The Gustavus men's golf team will open the 2004 season by competing in the St. John's University Invitational on Sunday at Greystone Golf Course in Sauk Centre, Minn. Results will be posted on the St. John's website.

Volleyball competes at the Carleton Classic

The Gustavus volleyball team will compete at the Carleton Classic this weekend. The Gusties will face UW-Oshkosh and Buena Vista on Friday and Dubuque on Saturday.

Women’s Soccer Loses 2-1 to St. Olaf

The Gustavus women's soccer team lost 2-1 to St. Olaf College on Thursday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. Amy Larson scored the lone goal for Gustavus at 42:08 in the first half.

Batalden Named MIAC Volleyball Player of Week

Gustavus Adolphus College senior setter Rachel Batalden (Lamberton, Minn.) was named MiAC volleyball player of the week. Batalden helped the Gusties to a 5-0 record during the week including a perfect 4-0 mark at the Gustavus Classic last weekend.

Men’s soccer plays to scoreless tie with Oles

The Gustavus men's soccer opened up conference play on Wednesday afternoon with a 0-0 tie againt St. Olaf College at Rolf Mellby Field in Northfield, Minnesota. The Gusties extend their unbeaten streak to 22 games.

Volleyball Defeats Bethel 3-0

The Gustavus volleyball team defeated Bethel University in St. Peter on Wednesday night for the first time since 1995. The Gusties improved to 8-3 for the season, while Bethel fell to 3-8.

Men’s Cross Country Hosts Alumni

The Gustavus men's cross country team hosted the alumni on Saturday, September 11 in St. Peter, Minnesota. Doug Cowles, class of 1996, won the race with a time of 16:33. Alex Zupan placed second with a time of 16:41.

Women’s Cross Country Holds Inter-Squad Race

The Gustavus women's cross country team ran an inter-squad race on Saturday, September 11 in St. Peter, Minnesota. Nichole Petersen won the race with a time of 19:14. Laura Edlund was the top first-year finisher with a time 19:46 to place second overall.

Men’s Soccer Defeats Nebraska Wesleyan 4-0

The Gustavus men's soccer team defeated Nebraska Weslayan 4-0 on Sunday afternoon in St. Peter, Minnesota. Bobby Kroog, Tore Johnston, Jeff Aasness and Neil Nelson were the goalscorers for Gustavus. The Gusties improved their unbeaten streak to 21 games.

Women’s Soccer Defeats Nebraska Wesleyan 2-1 in OT

The Gustavus women's soccer team defeated Nebraska Wesleyan 2-1 in overtime on Sunday afternoon in St. Peter, Minnesota. Amy Larson scored the gamewinner 7:37 into overtime.
