Expectations will be high once again for the Gustavus women’s golf team as Division III National Coach of the Year Scott Moe welcomes back four letterwinners, including three of last year’s top four players from a team that was MIAC Champions and finished second at the NCAA Championships. The trio that will anchor this year’s squad includes All-Americans Katie Schenfeld and Taylor Drenttel, and All-Region honoree Ann Jackson.

Women’s Golf Continues Outstanding Play, Wins UW-Eau Claire Invitational

The Gustavus women's golf team completed the most dominating spring regular season in the program's history by winning the UW-Eau Claire Invitational by 20 strokes over host UW-Eau Claire on Sunday afternoon at Wild Ridge Golf Course in Eau Claire, Wis. Katie Schenfeld claimed medalist honors for the third time this Spring and Gustavus golfers Schenfeld (first), Kali Griggs (tie second), and Taylor Drenttel (tie second) claimed the top three spots individually.
