Track And Field Members Compete At Minnesota Open, Tyler Geyen Wins 60 Meter Hurdles
Three members of the Gustavus track and field team finished in the top five at the University of Minnesota Open featuring athletes from Division I, II, and III on Saturday in Minneapolis. Senior Tyler Geyen (Watertown, Watertown-Mayer) turned in the top performance finishing first in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.34 seconds, 0.07 seconds short of meeting a NCAA provisional qualifying standard.

Sophomore Laura Secor (Stillwater, Minn.), the lone female competitor for Gustavus, finished seventh in the 800 meters with a time of 2:30.05.
