Relays Power Men’s Indoor Track and Field In Second Day of MIAC Championships, Finishes Eighth
The 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams garnered all-conference honors as the Gustavus men's indoor track and field team finished in eighth place with 50 points at the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Concordia College. The 4x200 meter relay team consisting of of Tyler Geyen (Sr., Watertown, Minn.), Cole Carlson (Jr., Mora, Minn.), Matt Leeb (So., Kasota, Minn.), and Matt Dvorak (Fy., Burnsville, Minn.) captured second place with a time of 1:30.35.
Men’s Indoor Track and Field Set For MIAC Championships This Weekend
The Gustavus men's indoor track and field team will arrive at 2009 MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships with a veteran group that will be looking to improve on their seventh place finish a year ago. The meet begins with the heptathlon competition on Thursday and runs through Saturday afternoon. Concordia will serve as the hosts with the event taking place at the Olson Forum on the Concordia campus.
