The Gustavus men's track and field team delighted the home fans with a strong third place finish at the MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which were held at the Gustavus Track and Field Complex on Friday and Saturday. Blair Riegl sparked the Gusties with an outstanding all-around performance as he won the long jump and 100 meter dash, while also finishing fourth in the triple jump, sixth in the 200 meter dash and participating on the 4 x 100 meter relay that placed second.
The Gustavus men’s and women’s track and field teams forged through temperatures in the mid-30’s and a surface lightly dusted with snow at the 11th Annual Lee Krough Invitational Track Meet on Saturday in St. Peter, Minn. No team scores were kept at the meet, as competing teams included Bethany Lutheran, Carleton, UM-Morris, and MSU-Mankato.
The Gustavus men's track and field team put together a strong performance on Saturday, February 19, in Collegeville, Minn. In the Saint John's Triangular, the Gusties posted six event wins and placed second overall with a team score of 127 points.

The Gustavus Men's Track and Field team competed January 28th and 29th at the MSU Open in Mankato. The Gusties posted six top-ten finishes against a field that included teams from NCAA Divisions II and III.
The 2010 ESPN the Magazine Men's Track and Field / Cross Country Academic All-America honor teams were announced recently and Gustavus senior cross country and track student athlete John Kennedy was named to the team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The Gustavus men's and women's outdoor track and field teams are set to host the Lee Krough Invitational on Saturday, April 10th, at the Gustavus Track and Field Complex in St. Peter, Minn. Field events are set to begin at 11:00 a.m. Participating schools will include Minnesota State Mankato, Martin Luther, Minnesota Duluth, Saint Mary's, Bethany Lutheran, and Winona State.
