The Gustavus Adolphus women’s soccer team finished Emblem Advantage Cup undefeated with a narrow 1-0 win over the College of St. Scholastica on Sunday afternoon in Duluth, Minn. The match remained scoreless for more than 80 minutes before Gustavus junior captain Meghan McMillan found the back of the net at the 82:12 mark of the match. Meghan Faricy was credited with the assist, her first of the season, on the game-winning goal.
The 2010 Gustavus women’s soccer team will look for a turn-around season in a new decade and improve on its 7-8-3 record (3-7-1 MIAC) and ninth place conference finish of last season.
