The Office of Sports Information has named men's hockey player John McLean December Male Student-Athlete of the Month.

John McLean made 31 saves on the way to his fifth-straight win. 

Penalty Killers Stay Hot, Men’s Hockey Edges No. 4 UW-River Falls 2-1

The Gustavus men's hockey team picked up a 2-1 win over No. 4 UW-River Falls on Wednesday night in River Falls, Wis. Gustavus, who has won its last five contests, improves to 7-4-2 overall on the season, while the Falcons drop to 9-2-2 overall.

Men’s Hockey Swept By St. Thomas After 3-1 Loss On Saturday

The Gustavus men's hockey team suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of St. Thomas on Saturday night in St. Peter, Minn. St. Thomas picks up four points over the weekend with the sweep. Gustavus has now dropped three-straight games and is 1-3-0 in the MIAC and 2-4-2 overall.

Senior captain Ross Ring-Jarvi will look to lead the Gusties as the squad's top-scorer from last season and the only senior on the roster.
