The Gustavus men’s track and field team compiled a two-day total of 44 points to finish in 11th place out of 18 competing schools. Blair Riegel led the Gusties with three top-10 finishes, taking third in the long jump, eighth in the 100-meter dash, and ninth in the 200-meter dash.

Gustavus senior Carrie Gundersen has been named MIAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for her efforts in last weekend's Falcon Invitational held at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. Gundersen won both the 500 and 1650 freestyle and placed second in the 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay. All four times are the fastest in the MIAC so far this year.

The Gusties recorded 539 points behind Luther College, which tallied 788 points. Josh Seaburg turned in two top-three finishes, including a first-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:19.90.
