The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) released its 2011 Men’s Soccer Awards on Thursday afternoon. Three Gustavus players were named to the All-Conference Team, while three more were named Honorable Mention All-MIAC. The Gustavus and Macalester men's soccer teams played to a 1-1 tie on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. With the tie, Gustavus finishes the season in third place in the conference with 21 points at 6-1-3 in the MIAC and 14-1-3 overall. Macalester currently sits in fourth place with 19 points at 6-3-1 in the MIAC and 10-7-1 overall.

The Gustavus men's soccer team got back on track with a 7-0 win over Concordia on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties improve to 6-1-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the MIAC, while Concordia drops to 3-3-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the MIAC.
The Gustavus men's soccer team fell 2-1 to St. Olaf on Wednesday in St. Peter, Minn. The Oles used a late goal with 2:17 left to play to hand Gustavus its first loss of the season. The Gusties fall to 5-1-1 overall and 0-1-0 in the MIAC, while St. Olaf improves to 5-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 in the MIAC.
The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2011 Men's Soccer All-Conference Team and Gustavus players Ben Ceder and Lucas Thompson were named to the 20-member honor squad selected by the league coaches. Ceder , a junior midfielder and Thompson a sophomore defender were key contributors to a Gustie squad that finished with a record of 10-5-3 overall and 5-2-3 in league play.
